Carlos Barea is a well known uruguayan artist and a very good friend of one of our instructors mom.

In 1993 he gave Mariana a little drawing, one of those he made making it feel so easy to do, as with no effort.

When some yeasr ago Pegasus started the activities, this was the image that the founders decided it represented the spirit and esence of what the center wanted: a horse with wings (the flying horse of greek mythology) representing freedom and the possibility of reaching and and achievieng what we want, and a little girl flying with him; an ideal detail that matched perfectly well as the founders are women.

So this is how the little black and white drawing became our image. The change we made was in its colour, and we inverted the "flying" direction, we positioned it to the right, while the original was to the left. This changes were exclusively for design purposes in our personal cards and the web site.

Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center is very happy to have chosen this Carlos Barea´s drawing as our image, and appreciates very much his acceptance in the destiny we chose for one of his works of art.
