If you or your company wish to support Centro Ecuestre Pegasus and help riders benefit from therapeutic riding, here we share our project and the different options you can collaborate.
Support options:
It is always possible to collaborate with Pegasus.
There are different options according to your reach and your will.
- Annual Rider Sponsor. We have many riders that can´t afford the therapy, this option makes you their "sponsor" or "patron". It needs to be annual so it´s really worth it for the rider. With this option you will be helping them improve their life quality not only physically but socially.
- Annual therapy horse sponsor. You will assume the annual costs of one (or more) of our therapy horses, helping us to assure they will have their basic needs covered (food, farrier, veterinary, boarding).
- Donating educational toys or material. This is very important as riders need to change their exercises and have the challenge of achieving new ones. ( materials and toys are preferred to be made in wood, fabric, plastic, big pieces, different textures, with numbers, letters, colourfull, etc).
- Donating horse and rider equipment. This option is basic in every therapeutic riding program so things can be done correctly. Equipment must be in very good condition so the safety measures are alwasy 100% covered. ( horse blankets, gel pads, coloured reins, saddles, headstalls, safety stirrups, helmets, safety vests, etc).
- Donating balanced food and hay for horses. Basic for the healthy mental and physical condition of therapy horses.
- Donating materials for the therapy area. We need to build and area where therapists can work comfortably with riders that need other assitance, as physical therapy, speech therapy, or any other. They may also need a quiet place to take some time to play, or read. (a stretcher or couch, rugs and carpets, swiss balls or bobath balls for treatment, yoga mats, air conditioning unit, etc). We need to build this area as soon as possible so Pegasus can offer their riders an integral attention.
